Ben Douglas-Jones secures Proceeds of Crime Act order for £7.4 million

Ben Douglas-Jones, led by Mark Cotter, has secured the second largest ever London RART (Regional Asset Recovery Team) Proceeds of Crime Act order - £7.4 million.  Ben was instructed by Lance Kearney of the London Borough of Merton and the Central Fraud Group. 

The order was obtained following a 7 year case and a 3 week confiscation hearing.  It concerned a betting tipster and bloodstock fraud which involved a joint investigation by Merton Trading Standards led by Trading Standards Officer John Hillarby and DC Henwood of Sussex Police and a joint prosecution by the CPS central Fraud Group and Merton Legal Services.
