Client accused of failing to provide details acquitted

Aparna Rao recently represented a lady charged with failing to give details of who was driving her car when it was caught speeding on camera. The client was unable to remember whether she or her husband might have been driving. The magistrates stated that she had made all diligent enquiries to attempt to find out who was driving, and that they accepted her explanation for why she was unable to recall. The defendant was acquitted.
